‘I LOVE Media Day’ to feature scavenger hunt, board games, bingo
For fans of “everybody’s hometown,” the upcoming “I LOVE Media Day” offers multiple opportunities to celebrate the Delaware County borough.
On Feb. 7, the Media Recreation Board will kick off the festivities with a borough-wide scavenger hunt from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants will need to download the “Goosechase” app on their smartphones, allowing them to follow clues to find hidden hearts and complete challenges around town.
From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Parlor Room on 3rd and Jackson streets will offer an assortment of “State Street Snacks,” more than 100 board games, and even a “Game Tender” who can help with selecting a game and learning the rules.
Finally, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. there will be Bingo Night at the community center at 4th and Monroe. Participants are encouraged to bring their own snacks and non-alcoholic drinks while they compete to win one of several Media prize baskets.
There will also be a photo op at 3rd and Jackson streets all day long, and residents are welcome to add chalk art to the patio area there.
