Make the world a greener place, for just $10 and the help of Edgmont Township

Celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day with a new tree!

Edgmont Township is offering a selection of native trees to township residents. A total of 100 trees are available and can be ordered online. Order as many as you would like, while supplies last. Registration and payment are required.

“Native trees help keep Edgmont Township beautiful and green while supporting birds, pollinators, and other wildlife,” said Anne Thorne, chair of the Board of Supervisors. “The township is proud to cover a portion of the cost so residents can purchase the trees at a discounted price.”

The trees are $10 each. The varieties include dogwood, pine, oak, red maple, serviceberry, and sweet bay magnolia. The saplings arrive in 2-gallon containers, and the trees range from 1- to 4-feet tall.

Residents can pick up their new tree, or trees, on April 18 from 10 a.m. to noon at the township building, 1000 Gradyville Road.
