Upper Providence plans to repave 7 neighborhood roads this year

Prepare for the season: no not just spring, but the traditional Pennsylvania time of year we all look forward to: Construction Season.

Upper Providence Township will be paving and making improvements to several roads this year — and is thanking residents in advance for their patience with the project.

The township said on Feb. 17 that its 2026 road program is moving forward, with the following sections of neighborhood roads earmarked for work:

·      Toft Woods Way, from West Bishop Hollow Road to the end

·      Springton Lake Road, from North Providence Road to Lakewood Drive

·      Lakewood Drive, from North Providence Road to Springton Lake Road

·      Pineview Drive, from North Providence Road to the cul-de-sac

·      Media Station Road, from South Orange Street to the Media Station Apartments driveway

·      Damview Drive, from North Providence Road to the first cul-de-sac

·      Weldon Street, from South Orange Street to South Avenue

Construction schedules are still being finalized, but the township said it will share them once they are set. People who live on the affected streets will also be notified in advance of important details surrounding timing, parking and access.

“Thank you for your patience as we continue investing in safer, smoother township roads,” the municipality said.

With the use of state grant money, the township will also make pedestrian safety and accessibility improvements to Route 252 and elsewhere.
