Upper Providence Township seeks party planners for America’s 250

This July, the country will come together to celebrate its 250th anniversary. Upper Providence Township is already getting its plans in order to make the celebration one to remember.

In fact, the township is seeking some help with making the plans into a reality. The community currently has a Rose Tree Park scheduled for its anniversary plans, but they’re looking for residents who would like to “be part of the planning committee.”

“If you enjoy community events and helping bring people together, we would love to have you involved,” said a post on the Township’s social media page. “Volunteers will help shape ideas, support planning, and aid in the execution of the event.”

If you’re interested in planning alongside the committee for America’s 250th birthday, please reach out to the Township Manager Barry Luber at [email protected] by Jan. 17.
