Worrall students, staff thank Marple Township Police Department with soft pretzels
The role of community police officer can be a tough one: big on responsibilities, small on recognition. But at the Marple Township Police Department, the hard work does not go unrecognized.
Take the Worrall Elementary School’s faculty, staff, and students. They are very thankful for the dedication of the local police. In fact, they opted to show that gratitude with a salty, fluffy, doughy “hug.” The school donated a crate full of soft pretzels in a true, Delco-style “thank you.”
Toting their thanks, students Mike, Ryan, and John came in person to bring the pretzels from Bernie’s Pretzels on March 6. The department staff was also thankful.
“Thank you Worrall Elementary School for sending in some pretzels,” said a post to the MTPD CrimeWatch page. “Special thanks to Mike, Ryan and John for making the delivery!
