A ribbon-cutting ceremony marks the grand opening of Pediatric Dentistry in Newtown Square

The Delaware County area is constantly changing, and new businesses seem to pop up overnight. Recently Newtown Square added one that cannot only add to the Newtown Township economy, but can also help your children’s dental health, too!

Recently the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce welcomed the new business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Pediatric Dentistry of Newtown Square was excited to officially open its doors.

“It was wonderful to celebrate their grand reopening and see so many community members and local businesses come together in support,” said a post on the Chamber’s Facebook page. “It was wonderful to celebrate their grand reopening and see so many community members and local businesses come together in support.”

The event served as a warm welcome to Dr. Joanna Mangar and her team, who joined the neighborhood with a unique event to celebrate the occasion. The facilities service children in Delaware, Chester, and Montgomery counties.

“We love partnering with families to help little smiles grow healthy and bright,” said the Pediatric Dentist website. “Our compassionate, kid-friendly team is here to make dental care easy, educational, and fun! With our experience, skills, and a whole lot of heart, we’re here to be a dental home, where your little one can grow!”

The newly remodeled facilities were even designed to keep young patients happy and healthy.

“We’re so excited to give you a little peek inside our new space — cozy, kid-friendly, and designed with your child’s comfort in mind,” said a post from the location on Facebook. “From the waiting room to the treatment chairs, every detail was created to feel warm, calm, and welcoming. We can’t wait to meet more families in our community and help little smiles shine!”

The team is able to service young children through teens with a variety of dentistry needs. Mangar, known to her patients as “Dr. Jo” said she enjoys working with young patients.

“I chose to become a pediatric dentist because of the unrivaled opportunity to shape children’s attitudes toward oral health from an early age,” she said. “Helping little ones build positive habits in a fun and nurturing environment can produce a lifelong impact- and that is what it’s all about.”

The newly opened dentistry service is now open at 3475 West Chester Pike, Suite 220, in Newtown Square. For more information or to make an appointment, call 484-473-9645.
