Delco sports museum to host special holiday event
Those who have been looking for a special holiday gift for a Delaware County sports fan will have an exclusive opportunity to find one at the Sports Legends of Delaware County Museum, located at 301 Iven Ave., in Wayne.
Delaware County sports historian Rich Pagano will offer for sale, at a special holiday price of $20, the second printing of his popular Delaware County Sports Legends book.
This holiday gift sale will be held at the museum on Sunday, Dec. 14 from noon to 2 p.m., and the museum’s DJ Joe Foley will be on site, playing classical holiday music for shoppers’ enjoyment.
At the holiday gift sale, a wide selection of sports-related items, including card sets, posters, photos, books, and DVDs, will be available at affordable prices. The proceeds will help support the educational programs and exhibits sponsored by the museum and to preserve Delco’s sports history.
