Middletown Township’s Valley Road to close Dec. 8 to 12
In order to allow for an AQUA water main replacement, those that travel in and around Middletown Township will need to take heed of road closures.
According to the Delaware County Public Works’s Facebook post on Dec. 5, Valley Road will be closed Dec. 8 to 12 for the utility work to be conducted in the area. The road will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day of the closure period.
The public works post said that the road will be closed between Darlington Road and New Darlington Road. The approximate half-mile stretch of road will not be accessible during the closure hours by vehicles nor pedestrians.
“Local traffic will be permitted to access homes,” said the social media post.
All area drivers should use caution in the vicinity.
