Who holds the highest career batting average as a member of the Phillies against the Giants (min 100 ABs)?

Dating back to 1901, the answer is Dots Miller, who hit .371 for the Phillies against the New York Giants in the early 1920s. You deserve some serious congratulations if you knew that. (You definitely didn’t.)

But in the Divisional Era (1969–>)? It’s the Krukker!

Some great names on this list. Dick Allen had a career .337 average against the Giants as a Phillie, but he hit .301 against them from 1969 on. Von Hayes and Chase Utley brought some power with their high averages (though neither comes close to Mike Schmidt’s 40 home runs against the team). 

Pat Burrell is now the Giants’ hitting coach. Along with Realmuto, Bryce Harper has a chance to climb higher up these rankings. And any list with Mickey Morandini, Shane Victorino, and Maikel Franco is a fun one.

Now… can the Phillies hit against the Giants tonight? Please?!?!
