Kody Clemens’ 2024 full-season numbers were unremarkable: 43 G, 120 PA, .219/.258/.447 (.706 OPS), 5 HR.
But Clemens certainly provided the clutch:
– He posted an .871 OPS in his 64 plate appearances with men on base.
– He hit .280 with an .813 OPS in 27 plate appearances classified as “late and close” by baseballreference.com.
– In 26 plate appearances in tie games, he posted an .866 OPS.
– In 56 plate appearances when the Phillies were within one run of their opponent, he posted a .974 OPS.
