‘Hop on over’ to the Edgmont Easter Egg Hunt

The Edgmont Township Easter Egg Hunt is almost here!

Come join Edgmont families for an egg-citing day at Edgmont Township’s fifth annual Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for Saturday, March 28, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The event will happen rain or shine, according to its organizers.

“Last year, we had 37 families with 75 children attending,” said Anne Rapposelli, Edgmont Township administrative assistant.  “It was a fun time for all.”

Egg “hunters” should be prepared for the prompt start.

“We start with the Egg Hunt at 10:45 a.m. If it’s held indoors due to rain, it’s more of “an egg scramble,” she said. “And afterward, the Easter Bunny arrives on a firetruck to meet and greet the children for pictures.  It’s a fun time for all involved.”

Guests are asked to please bring one basket per child to search for treat-filled eggs, she said.

“Hop on down to our event at the Edgmont Township Community Park at 800 Gradyville Road. In the event of rain, the egg hunt will be held indoors at the Edgmont Township Fire Company at 1010 Gradyville Road,” said Rapposelli.
