Make a lunch date with Santa, for the cost of a single toy thanks to Middletown Fire Company
If you were hoping to catch a glimpse of the big man himself before he shimmies down your chimney, you’re in luck. The Middletown Fire Company was able to make a lunch date with Old St. Nick. And, if you’d like to join them for the meal, it will only cost you one toy.
The Middletown Fire Company will present a free lunch with Santa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13. The cost of admission is an unwrapped toy for Toys For Tots.
People of all ages are welcome to attend to “enjoy holiday arts and crafts while having lunch with Santa” along with “plenty of Christmas cheer,” said the Company’s Facebook post.
With over 50 active members and six different pieces of fire apparatus, the fire company serves the township’s 13.5 square miles and 20,000 residents, including U.S. Highway 1, a major thoroughfare which runs through the township. Middletown Fire Company is a participating Department in the Certification Program through the Pennsylvania State Fire Commissioner’s Office. As the designated township rescue company, Middletown Fire Company, in 2013, was the first fire company in Delaware County to earn the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s Voluntary Rescue Service Recognition, which recognizes strict levels of certification, proficiency and emergency response.
Middletown Fire Company is located at 425 S. New Middletown Road, in Media. For information on this event, call 610-586-0723.
