Penncrest High School to host ‘Carnival for a Cure’ Saturday

On March 7, Penncrest High School will host its second annual Carnival for a Cure, benefiting the Foundation Fighting Blindness.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Penncrest High School gym, attendees of the free event will find games, food, live music, raffles and bounce houses. Because all proceeds go to charity, “every laugh, ticket, and game played makes a difference,” said the Rose Tree Media School District.

The Foundation Fighting Blindness describes itself as a “driving force in the global development of treatments and cures for blinding diseases.” The Baltimore-based organization has helped fund and advance more than 50 clinical trials for potential treatments, and in 2025 it funded 113 grants globally across 90 institutions.
