Recruitment under way for Upper Darby Police youth group
Applications are now being accepted for the Upper Darby Police Department Explorers Program, a monthly program for teenagers designed to simulate the experience recruits would have at a police academy.
Topics covered include physical fitness standards, ethics and the criminal justice system, among others.
All eligible applicants must be Upper Darby residents, age 16-19 with no arrest or convictions that would prohibit employment as a Police Officer.
