Upper Darby police say thieves use distraction to gain access
Upper Darby police are seeking four women suspected of committing a burglary of a home in the Kirklyn section of the township.
Police say two of the women knock on the front door and engage the homeowner, posing as interested buyers. A third woman acted as a lookout while the fourth entered the home and stole jewelry.
Anyone with information about these women is asked to call the Upper Darby Police at 610-734-7693.
Police also remind residents that solicitors are required to have a permit and display ID.
