Report: Eagles sign veteran cornerback Adoree’ Jackson

Fox Sports’ Jordan Schultz reported Thursday that the Eagles signed free agent cornerback Adoree’ Jackson.

Jackson, 29, played for the New York Giants from 2021 through 2024, starting 41 games. Prior to joining the Giants, Jackson played for the Tennessee Titans, who selected the CB 18th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft.

The Birds were in the market for a corner after letting both Darius Slay and Isaiah Rodgers depart this offseason. The team’s secondary remains strong because of the emergence of young players like Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, but Jackson adds a veteran presence to next year’s group. He may even compete for a starting role.

The full terms of Jackson’s contract with the Eagles were not immediately made available, but the one-year deal he signed with New York in 2024 paid him $1.75 million.
