Yet another wild Saquon Barkley stat uncovered
2024 NFL Offensive Player of the Year Saquon Barkley has scored 20 touchdowns this season (including the playoffs).
That’s remarkable, especially considering the number of goal line carries Barkley misses out on due to the pushing of tush. But 53 other players in NFL history accomplished the same feat.

The stat gets right to the heart of the Saquon Barkley experience. The Eagles do not need to choose between leaning on their run game and taking deep shots, because every Barkley carry is a deep shot. The running back is a threat to score from anywhere on the field. With enough carries, sooner or later he breaks loose. It’s inevitable.

Barkley’s 2024-25 numbers can (and will) be sliced and diced in thousands of different ways. We are witnessing one of the greatest individual seasons in history. And on Sunday, Barkley and his teammates have a chance to cap it off with a Super Bowl victory.
