Marple police get two special visits from area Girl Scouts

Maybe it is all the sweet treats they bring along, but there is something special about visits from Girl Scouts. At the Marple Township Police Department, they’ve been lucky enough to enjoy two back to back!
Girl Scout Troop #5863 stopped by the police station April 8. During the visit, the troop got to “deliver cookies for the officers and receive a tour of our facility from Sergeant Kyle Engelman,” said a post on the department’s CrimeWatch page.
On April 14, the officers had another visit as the Girl Scouts from Troop 5444 stopped by with a “thank you” treat, as well.
“The girls didn’t come empty-handed either,” said the department’s second post. “They brought plenty of cookies to share with the officers. Before getting a quick tour of the police station, they posed for a photo with Officers Hughes and Lambritsios. Thanks for stopping by!”
