Media’s EAC to host annual Eco Tours Sunday

As Earth Day approaches, the Media Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) is ready to celebrate. And this Sunday, they invite the community to join in, too.

On Sunday, April 19, the Media EAC will present an “Eco Tour,” in an annual tradition. The 75-minute guided walking tour will run with a fresh start every 15 minutes, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The walk will cover topics such as water quality/salt contamination, climate change, composting in the home, residential energy conservation, air quality/leaf blowers, pesticides, and bird population decline/window streaks.

Space is limited on each walking tour. You can reserve a free space online ahead of time with the QR code in the image above. Walk-up participation will be limited to spaces remaining available. 

Tours will begin at the rain garden on Fourth Street, near Media’s Borough Hall. Tours end near Heritage Park.
