Middletown Community Day slated for May 2

Sometimes, feeling a sense of community is as easy as coming together. Locally, the municipal Parks and Recreation team has the ability to bring the residents of Middletown Township into the same space with Community Day 2026.
Slated for Saturday, May 2, at Longview Park, 742 W. Rose Tree Road in Media, the events of the day are aimed at bringing the community together, as its name implies. From music, inflatables, face painting, and balloon twisting, to a variety of vendors, games, and food, the day is scheduled to be jam-packed with activities.
A “Green Zone” will be available to showcase eco-conscious choices, and a number of the area’s nonprofits will be in attendance to explain their initiatives, too.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn about the organizations that care deeply about sustainability and our environment,” said the Transition Town Greater Media website.
The Community Day will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and all ages are welcome to attend. There is no cost to attend the Day. Parking is available at the park, and there is no charge to do so.
