Kedron cheerleaders offer to ‘egg your house’ for Easter
A local cheerleading program is offering to “egg your house” for Easter — but it’s not what it sounds like.
Rather than masterminding a prank that involves throwing messy eggs at houses, Newtown Square-based Kedron Cheerleading is holding a fundraiser that lets local families surprise their children with a yard full of hand-placed, candy-filled Easter eggs.
The cheerleading program is accepting orders through April 1 and charging $20 for 25 eggs, $40 for 50 eggs, $60 for 75 eggs and $75 for 100 eggs. The money will go toward funding a trip to a cheerleading competition for Kedron athletes.
All eggs will include pre-wrapped candy, and peanut-free options are available upon request. Those interested in ordering should fill out a Google Form with their name, address, phone number and egg quantity and Venmo the appropriate amount to @Kedron-Cheerleading with their name and number of eggs in the notes. Payment can be made by Venmo.
Kedron is a nonprofit, recreational competitive cheer program for athletes aged 5-18. Mandatory practices, held three times per week, begin in August, and the season runs through April for most teams. The Kedron Pride team is also available for children with special needs.
