Delco sheriff welcomes a new deputy
The staff of the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, alongside Sheriff Siddiq Kamara, announced a new addition on Monday, April 27.
“Today, we proudly welcomed a new deputy to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office as he was officially sworn in on his first day of service,” said Kamara via a Facebook post Monday. “Please join us in congratulating Prince Massaquio as he begins his journey in public safety here in Delaware County.”
Kamara said that this new deputy exemplifies those in the line of duty.
“His commitment to serve and protect county residents and visitors represents the very best of this profession,” wrote the sheriff. “We are honored to have him join our team and look forward to the impact he will make.”
Massaquio will begin work immediately with the sheriff’s office.
“Welcome to the Sheriff’s Office,” said Kamara. “Your service starts now.”
